- It's of Plantain.
- It's of Vegetable oil.

This delicious meal is usually made with unripe plantain, however, you can use a combination of ripe and unripe plantain, most people do this in other to achieve a faint sugary taste. When the beans porridge is soft, add the onions, crayfish (if using it), pepper and seasoning. As a child, I loved beans like kilode. Beans featured in our menu once a week.

- Pick, wash and parboil the beans and wash again..
- Blend the pepper, ginger and garlic and part of the onions together. Wash the fish..
- Pour the beans in a pot, add the blended mixture, fish, seasoning cube, salt, palm oil and water. Put on fire to cook..
- Peel the plantain and salt And fry using vegetable oil. Wash and dice the tomatoes and remaining onions..
- When the beans is Cooked add the tomatoes and onions, stir,put off the heat and allow it on heat residue for some minutes..
- Food is ready..
