- You need 1 Cup of wheat pasta penne.
- It's 1/2 Cup of wheat flour.
- Prepare 1 1/2 Cups of Milk.
- It's 1 Cup of cheese (grated).
- You need 1 Cup of Capsicum onion and ( sliced).
- You need 1/4 Cup of oregano.
- You need To Taste of red chilli flakes.
- You need To Taste of salt.
- You need 2 Tablespoons of olive oil.
Penne Pasta in white sauce instructions
- Heat large covered sauce pot of salted water to boiling on high and add the pasta to it. Let it boil for about 7 mins till the pasta is cooked. Drain the pasta, rinse the pasta with cold water, drain it again and keep it aside..
- Now for the white sauce take a deep dish add the wheat flour to it and then slowly keep adding the milk to it and whisk properly till it turns out into a smooth batter..
- Make sure there should be no lumps of wheat in it. If the batter is too thick add some water as per to get a smooth consistency. Once this is done keep it aside..
- Now take pan let it heat for about 1 min. Add the oil to it, add the oregano and chilli flakes to the oil saute it for about 2 mins. Then add the capsicum and onion to it saute it for 3 mins.(Here any vegetables of your choice can be used)Now add the sauce batter to the pan..
- Keep stiring it constantly when the sauce is boiling. Add the boiled Penne pasta. Add salt to taste, let it cook for 3- 4 min and now add the grated cheese and extra oregano and chilli flakes..
