- Prepare 1 cup of semolina, dry roasted.
- It's 1 tbsp. of roasted chickpea flour.
- You need 1/3 cup of castor sugar or as required (I used brown sugar).

- You need 1/4 tsp. of cardamom powder.
- Prepare 1-2 tbsp. of melted butter.

- It's of required quantity of water.
- You need 1 tsp. of eno fruit salt.

- It's of sugar syrup to drizzle (opt).
- Prepare of castor sugar to garnish (opt).
The conventional dhokla which I put up here is very Suji/Semolina is used in the preparation of several dishes such as Upma, Laddoos, Idli, Dosa and. Semolina based dhoklas are instant considered to conventional. But I prefer soaking semolina in curd overnight which gives more flavor and also softness to these dhoklas instead of instant batter. - In a bowl, combine all the mentioned ingredients (except eno fruit salt and the garnishings). Add enough water to form a batter of pouring consistency. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes..
- Add more water if required and whisk well. Add eno fruit salt and give it a stir. Pour into a greased steel container / plate and steam for 20 minutes on a medium flame..
- When cool, cut into desired shapes. Garnish with chopped pistachios, dried rose petals and soaked chia seeds..
- Serve it warm or at room temperature with a drizzle of some sugar syrup / castor sugar if you wish..
