  13. You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
  14. You need 1 stick of cinnamon.
  15. Prepare of Salt as per taste.
  16. You need 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  17. You need 1 tbsp of Coriander powder.
  18. Prepare 1 tsp of Garam masala.
  19. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Turmeric.
  20. Prepare 2 tbsp of oil.

Masaledar Methi Rice step by step

  1. Wash the rice and keep aside.
  2. In the mixer add onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, tomatoes, coriander and fenugreek leaves with some water and grind into smooth paste..
  3. In a pressure cooker, add oil, put cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick let it crackle..
  4. Add the fenugreek paste and cook for 5-7 mins and add all the veggies and cook further till oil separates from the masala..
  5. Add all dry masalas like salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and cook for 2 mins..
  6. Add rice, and water 1.5 glass and pressure cook till one whistle. Simmer for another 2-3 mins and off the flame..
  7. Allow the pressure to release on it's own. Open the lid and mix well..
  8. Serve with boondi raita..
